It is not heavy but whenever i do, its paining. Its making both of us uncomfortable. Now my wife is pregnant and she is suggesting to go for circumcision. Is the pain normal? If i want to go for this surgery, to whom i should meet? I mean sexologist? How long does it take to become normal after undergoing this surgery. Please help. Any advice will be really appreciated. Thanks. Reply to this Question Share |

You should contact a urologist to do the procedure. You can have sex again after 6 weeks, but won't be completely healed for six months. It takes this long for the sensitization of the exposed glans and frenulum to subside.

@Danielepew - thank you for the advice. I am not an Egyptian by the way, not Muslim too. I came here to work recently. I have pain since i start having sex with my wife but now we are thinking to go for the surgery.
@Madalo1, @chigirl - thank you both of you. I will meet general physician soon to take his suggestion.
I think i dont have a problem of phimosis because my foreskin is moving somewhat freely when i masturbate. Sometimes its bleeding when i start giving strokes.
Thank you all once again.

You should talk to a doctor who specializes in general medicine and ask them to refer you to someone? Or look in the phone-listings and call around to figure out who is performing these operations near you?
A circumcision might be the answer. But you need to talk to a doctor first. Then perhaps a gynecologist, but in my country you only get to talk to a gynecologist if you have been reffered to one by your doctor.

Good idea to get circumcised. Go to a hospital/clinic. Takes about 6weeks to heal. Circumcision reduces risk of infections, and it does reduce pain during sex, and you'll be more free to explore different kinds of positions without pain.

Your post says you live in Egypt, a muslim country, where men are routinely circumcised. So this gives me the hunch that your post isn't real.
But, it could be a real post. Therefore, I must say that some men have foreskins that don't retract all the way, or "phimosis". In that case, a doctor can make a cut, not necessarily a circumcision, and that fixes the problem.
It seems kind of odd to me, however, that a 29-year old man wouldn't know whether his foreskin goes all the way or not.
