but i have strech marks on my hips,thighs and boobs..and im a size 10. so it just goes to show that its normall and most men like imperfections,trust me.
all those things you see in magazines of celebs so aint real its all been airbrushed.just be proud of them.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 March 2009): i myself have strtch marks on my thighs , behind my knees and around my waist .. first time i took y shirt of infront of my bf he was like what is that ? and he thought they were self inflicted scars - cause i have these - so i simply explained that they are just strtch marks , something you get when u gain and lose wait alot . . and that is it , didnt bother him and we have been happy together and i actually now am so less aware of them unlike before .. so just dont try hidding anything that is part of you . embrace it

Many girls get stretch marks after they hit puberty, be it on there stomach, thighs, butt, and even boobs, it's not something to be ashamed of it's perfectly normal. If you're planning on losing your virginity, the guy that you're with shouldn't care about those marks and if he does, he's probably not the best guy to be having sex with.

If you have privacy,light some candles or turn down the lights. Put some of your favourite music on. If the marks continue to be an issue for you, talk to a doctor about it when you next see one. It may not be as noticable as you think! Good luck.
