I'm not a guy so I can't say for sure, but if you're a virgin and wondering how masturbating will be different from sex, well I think a lot of guys find it really exciting and come quickly, or quicker for the first time. But whatever the case, you can train yourself to last a bit longer. Don't be tempted to use any of those creams/sprays - my husband tried them once and did nothing for him - but they numbed me and it was awful!
Practice holding off on orgasming when you masturbate, don't look at any porn (don't know if that'll work but seems logical to me) and you can learn to push yourself. Don't worry about it too much.
I hear alcohol slows things down a bit - but hey!
