I hate sitting on the plastic base chairs at college because it often leaves a sweat mark and I get incredibly anxious and embarrassed. What am I supposed to do? I hate feeling paranoid about it. My discharge is white but it feels weird; it's daily and it isn't because I'm aroused or anything. I don't watch porn or masturbate and I'm a virgin. I've had this for about 3 years but I'm too embarrassed to go to the doctor and I don't even know if there's something wrong or if I just need ways to handle it...

You can always try panty liners? I sweat a lot on the back of my legs and butt area and I only really leave sweat marks if I'm hot or wearing really thin clothing. So I try not to wear thin clothing if I can avoid it :)

Maybe there is something wrong with your sweat glands? The discharge might be a yeast infection: I would recommend these natural cures: eat greek yogurt and apply it to that area, chammomile tea daily, eat 1-2 garlic cloves daily, and drink plenty of water and cut down on sugars overall, especially refined sugars. You can also wear thicker cotton underwear and thicker clothes for the sweating and use a panti liner or a pad if you think you need it.

Could be a yeast infection (thrush) nothing to worry about, even babies and nuns get it. Any problems with your body, you go straight to the doctors, don't mess about on the internet trying to diagnose yourself. Wear cotton knickers and make sure you don't put anything in your baths. Sensitive soaps like Dove are best if you find that your vaginal becomes sore and irritated. Go right to the doctors and they'll be able to tell you what's wrong.PS: You don't need to watch porn, masturbate or have sex to become aroused. Your body will do this naturally all by it's own if it sees something that creates sexual desire in you. Cold weather will do it, sensation, touch or even smell. You even get aroused in your sleep. Just in case you think that by avoiding sexual things your not a sexual being.

She did go get checked by her gyno though and you should too. It's better to be safe and embarrassed than have a serious issue get worse because you didn't go.

Nothing sounds abnormal. I leave sweat marks on plastic chairs too and while it's embarrassing, I don't think there's much you can do about it other than wear thicker pants. As long as there's no weird smells, the discharge isn't cottage cheesy, an odd color, and nothing itches or hurts, it's most likely just normal discharge.
Why would you be embarrassed to go to a doctor about this? They've seen EVERYTHING. Doctors aren't embarrassed by this, it's just work. If you think something's wrong, don't hesitate to bring it up.
Also masturbation and sex wouldn't have any impact on your discharge.

Hello, I am sorry you are so uncomfortable. Its hard to say if this is a medical problem or not, so firstly I want to advise you to see a doctor. Nothing anyone will say here can substitute a trip to the gynecologist to get everything checked.
That being said, I think it would probably be useful for you to keep a record of your discharge to determine what its really like every day. Just take a minute to write down how much there was and what it is like. Sometimes it seems like something is happening to us everyday, but in fact, its not as bad as we think.
Its normal to have discharge, but it should change during the month. Anywhere from 2-7 days before you ovulate, you should experience more discharge (normally during this time its cloudy/clear and stretchy like egg whites), and afterwards and before ovulation you should be drier (or at least it should have a different consistency). If your body isn't following this pattern, it could be indicative of a problem. This website might help explain it better: www.tcoyf.com. Maybe if you have a better understanding of your cycle patterns, you will be able to predict the days when you will have the most discharge and then plan for them.
Most likely you are fine, just a healthy fertile young person. To make it more bearable, you should wear really comfortable cotton underwear and light pads when necessary to help absorb the extra stuff. Good luck to you!

Anything regarding your body and health and well being is BEST for a visit to the doctors. We are not Professionals and can only offer suggestions based on what you have posted.Erase all doubt by heading to a Medi Centre. Some women do have over lucrative glands. Have you thought to wear maxi pads? Liners?Perhaps there is some disorder so again, seek professional help as they can run tests and rule out such things. Maybe even some pill or cream can help with it all.Good Luck!
