writes:I started dating this guy and things were going well for a while, but then he asked me not to leave him. The problem is that I knew that I was going to move, and I didn't want to not tell him. I felt that that would be too deceitful. We broke up shortly after, he told me that he wants to be friends, but we never talk and when he sees me he stares for a while and looks hurt. I dont know what to think. Should I try to pursue a friendship? What does his odd behavior mean? Please help if you can.

 Give him some time. By asking you not to leave shows me he may be a little insecure. I think you should and be friends with him if that is what you both want!
