Also he knows I like wine and will often buy a bottle and, after he opens it, if it's especially good he'll insist I take the rest to enjoy myself. Last time I was around him his goodbye hug lasted a bit longer and he pulled me in a lot closer. I'm in the process of moving out w/ my boyfriend and he has called numerous times to give me support. He Does NOT tell me to go because he thinks relationships take work, but he does tell me he wants me to find true happiness one day and he's great about listening to my problems. Like I said he's not pushing me to leave, but he wants me to know my happiness is the most important thing. Do you think he's positioning himself to be 'waiting in the wings'? I think it's very possible yes. But I also think he's being sensible about it and hinting for you to take time and make sure you do what's best for you.
