In High School, I was voted Most Shy and I only had about 6 friends that I talked to. I still keep in touch with most of those friends, even though we have since parted ways to different universities. I am a person driven off of mostly pure emotion. I tend to hide my practical, sensible side and wear my heart on my sleeve. Thankfully, this is only for myself and I tend to give other people pretty decent advice (that I myself can never follow :P).
I've only been in two serious relationships, but I think I have learned quite a bit from them. The first relationship lasted 2 and a half years and after being angry at one another for about a year, my ex and I have finally come to a point where we can be friends. My second relationship, which I am currently in, has lasted for over a year and isn't perfect, but what relationship is. I try to learn things everyday from the mistakes I make and the mistakes my boyfriend makes.
I like to watch movies, tv (especially TLC), read books of all kinds, laugh, and just generally do things that make me happy.

A. 20 March 2007: Hmm. It sounds like you might have a problem here. Online, long distance relationships can definitely be a trying situation. Even though he's ignoring you, maybe you should call him at least once just to say you tried to fix the relationship. If he ... (read in full...)

Q. My boyfriend and I had dated for 2 and a half years. We broke up a little over 4 months ago. We had been kind of off and on b/c he was freaking out about our relationship. It was his first and was really serious. He had this slut of a friend who ...
A. 19 March 2007: Well, first of all I'd like to point out something you said. "If I could completely forgive him." To give forgiveness is an extremely hard thing to do, and you might want to consider the consequences of your relationship if you can't completely ... (read in full...)
He told me not to call, email, or talk to him in any way until he's ready. What shoudl I do about this?

A. 18 March 2007: Before I give an update, I would like to thank everyone so much for taking the time to read what I've posted and give me their advice. Just knowing that there are people out there willing to at least listen really makes me feel better. Now, for ... (read in full...)

A. 17 March 2007: Well, now I'm just even more confused. The more I think about the situation, the more hurt and angry I feel. I know he probably does need his space, but we live an hour from each other... isn't that space enough? And I feel like I should be saying ... (read in full...)
