I'm a young male, but I'm pretty overweight. Not morbidly obese, but pudgy. How should I dress/appear so that I am more attractive to women?

Sad to say but if you've got a pudge you need to have the personality to make up for it. That's how jerks get away with having a "hot" body.

Personally I think a guy in a casual button down polo with jeans or khakis is a great everyday outfit. If you're slim enough to fit into the larger sizes at aeropostale/american eagle... go for it. If you're self conscious about your weight.. and then you're not sure if you're wearing appealing clothes... try a more popular brand. You'll have more confidence. You could always start to do some cardio to drop some weight. Good luck!

blueyedgirl agony auntI agree that baggier clothes are more slimming, and a sense of humor is much more important than weight! But you are asking about appearance... the most important things, in my opinion, are neatness and personal hygiene. Also, a nice cologne can go a long way!!! :-)

The main tip I can give you is to not 'squish' yourself into clothes. When buying new clothes, try on a size bigger than you usually take, and you won't get such an 'overhang' on your jeans. A good everyday outfit would be a good pair of jeans; the hem should hang over your heels, try sitting down in them and make sure they don't show an expanse of leg lol.

Try tshirts with logos. A blank tshirt makes you look bigger, and maybe wear it with a zip thru hoodie. Get a good haircut from a professional hairdresser, and you're good to go.

Hope that helps hun,

Katie xxx
