My period came to me August 11th... against the odds.It lasted for like 12 (!) days... when it normally lasts 5-6.I continued taking the pills... and on August 22th I had sex and used protection (condom)... I was still on Yasmin. And I still had a bit of "brown" liquid during that day.Bottom line...its September 26th now and I still havent gotten my period. What the hell can be going on???? I doubt I can be pregnant while I was on Yasmin and even used a condom....but? (Don't tell me to call my gyno, I already did.)Thanks.

Now I'll call my doc again and check for other parameters. I've taken yasmin before, but the normal way. (aka first day of the period)...this time though my doctor told me to take it when I wasnt on my period in order to stop it...so I guess my cycle got really messed up!

You are still very new to the pill and it can take a good few month for your body to settle into its the new cycle you are forcing on it (remember the bleeding you have now is NOT an actual period like it was before, but a withdrawal bleed).
Things will settle down but if you are still not happy go back to your doctor. A lot of women need to try many different brands to find one that suits their body. It isnt as easy as just taking tablets. There are a whole lot of other side effects to think about.

You're not pregnant.
Weird things can happen when you're putting extra chemicals/hormones into your body. It doesnt sound like the dosage was high enough. The same kind of thing happened to me on holiday.
It will sort itself out.
