Nothing much happened then but since I came back some months ago we have stayed in touch, talked a lot etc. long story short is that there may potentially be more than just being friends to this but that isn't overly important to the question, just to be borne in mind.My question/issue is, I will soon be visiting the country where I studied again on a short break for a couple of days and it is obviously my intention to visit this girl when I am there. I know that she loves surprises so I have had the idea of only hinting that I might be visiting rather than telling her outright so that when I actually get there I could surprise her by saying I was in town or tell her to go to one of the places we hung out and surprise her there. However, I wouldn't want this to come across in the wrong way nor would I want it to startle her. Although I'd basically be showing up and being like "ta da", I would be doing it with good intent and in the spirit of fun. I know that she would be glad to see me regardless and I don't feel like she would be pissed off if I did go with the surprise route. It could startle her though as it could anyone, I obviously don't know. I am wondering if it is worth the trouble or whether it might be seen as weird or overwhelming instead of endearing or sweetThoughts? Reply to this Question Share |

GO FOR IT! IT SOUNDS FUN AND SPONTANEOUS! DON'T GO FOR THE SAFE ROUTE. HINT,DON'T TELL.
