There are various complementary/ alternative remedies and nutritional supplements that claim to work wonders on period pain and flow problems. The trouble is that most lack clinical evidence, even though they might work for some people. If you are having significant problems with pain and clotting at your age then I recommend a visit to the doctors - there could be several medical conditions (nothing too serious!) that may explain your symptoms. There is no point in suffering in silence - see a lady doctor if you are embarrassed about talking about periods. You should ask your doctor for a blood test to identify if you have any hormonal imbalances and you should be checked for endometriosis.

Talk to your doctor and ask about the birth control pill too, it might be an easy solution (I know not all doctors seem to understand we want easy solutions to our problems? Weird huh?) Dont stop before you find something that helps! Best of wishes, no one should have to go through these painful menstruation's.

however, we cant really answer medical problems, as we're not really trained for it. But im sure your doctor would happily talk things over with you =]
hope things sort themselves out =]

You need to go to see a doctor an explain that the pain is really bad and the blood comes out in clots, he should be able to suggest things.x
