How exactly should I tell someone that I like him a lot and that I would like to go out with him without making it sound too corny or mawkish? Please help; I don't have much time. Thanks

What is the exact thing that I say to him? Do you have any suggestions or quotes that I should use in order to tell him that I like him? I don't want to go for the ordinary ,"I like you", because I'm afraid he wont take it seriously. Is there another way to say it, hopefully in a creative way?

You should take a bold step and just tell him you like him, dont rush and say "I LOVE YOU" bcos that might be too heavy on him just tell him you like him and if he aswell likes you too from his inside i bet you,he will be the one to tell you he Loves you next time.

Yes, if he knew you loved him, your friendship would change. If you really, really like him and think he reciprocates, just tell him you like him. I wouldn't go right out and say love, that might scare him off and it's very hard to know if you really LOVE someone if you aren't dating them. But if you think he really likes you too, then tell him.
