writes: this girl im talking to has a boyfriend.. we talk and hangout a lot. but now im just wondering, would she respect or like me more if i said lets just stop everything and be strictly friends, because she said if anything ever happen she would always want to keep in touch and i kno ppl say that but lets just say she meant it, or if i said choose him or me right now, which is kind of dramatic.. any opinions would be great thank you!

You are right if you ask her to choose between you and him. It could be more likely she may said she will choose him not you - be aware.
Do you know if she have feeling for you? If yes, then do explain that you do value her friendship and would like to do more. However she has a boyfriend then that is why you raise.
If she just want you to be a friend then you have to decide to keep carrying on as a friend or go to a different way, move on.
