It will last - for about 6 months, and then she'll have grown up and changed and one or the other of you will lose interest.
Be her friend and even date her but don't expect it to last for ever. She might want to go to uni next year and do you want her to go to a crap university just to be close to you? Encourage her to go away and do the best she can if she wants to.
Good Luck!! xx

Been there more times than most ever will!!And none of them have ever lasted more than a year or so. People change with time... even yourself... and that could lead things to an end. But in the mean time....just enjoy your time with her, be a good guy and let the future be whatever presents itself to you both!!Any grief you get from your friends or others is only jealousy talking...they wish they wore your shoes!! hahaa!! remember that!!
