i dont think people would frown, i mean, it wont be that visually obvious if you know what i mean lol so you'll be fine there. You'll just have to make sure she's mature enough to get involved in something like this. 16's a funny age to be really, some are mature, others can still act like a 12 year old at times. guess you'll just have to figure out which she is!

i feel it's ok as i am goin out wid a guy who is 2/3 yrs younger to me .i just turned 16 and he's 13.at same school

everything seems to go fine

touch wood.

so a age differsence of 3/4 yrs is acceptable i guess

although at first my mates said he's still a kid but now they are over that one and when i feel like ending the relationship at times when i'm down ofcourse they tell me not 2.as they have seen how mature he is comaring 2 oda guy the same age as me as t5he guys same age a me act like don't no whats .

Speaking as a 16 year old with a 19 year old boyfriend, you might be frowned upon by some people, and you'll probably get some stick from mates your own age, especially if she's still in school. But generally it doesn't effect the relationship unless you let it. Also, if she looks younger or you look older then you may have some funny looks from people on the street, but you get used to that pretty quickly. I imagine this is a one off thing, but try to avoid going for girls this age too often or you'll get yourself a reputation.

Adelaide agony auntI don't think in this day an age this relationship would be frowned upon.

The only hurdle that you may have to overcome is her parents, whilst she may be mature and want to date you, her parents may see you as a threat or a guy with an ulterior motive.

date her but be cautious, have respect for her wishes and her parents wishes, when all said and done she is still very much her parents little girl.

I was sixteen when I first started dating my eighteen year old boyfriend, my parent were not happy to begin with.

However in time they did come round and our relationship lasted 7 years.

I hope this helps

Good Luck and remember respect her parents wishes and you won't go far wrong!

Best Wishes

Adelaide

I've always found that 15-18 relationships are fine, and you're both a year older than that so i would say it's perfectly ok. Plus she's sixteen which is a good age:)good luck x
