writes:My aunt, who married my mothers brother so she isnt related to me by blood, has a lot of nieces and nephews. Now, they all live pretty far away, about 10 hours from where I live in Australia. I actually just met a lot them about 2 weeks ago. The girls are really nice and when they dont know how to relate themselves to me, they just say cousins.But the guys, or rather one of the guys, is my age, and we never were like hey youre my cousin, were more just friends. and i didnt visit them to meet them as my "cousins" i met them with a bunch of other kids at this big get together of everyone in the area. I mean for the girls, its like aw were kinda cousins, but with everyone else we dont even think about it. actually these kids, or people that know us dont even put two and two together. I know in greece you like cant get married but not like i intend on getting married to this kid or live in greece..i just wondered by like normal human being standards would it be weird if me and one kid had kinda had hooked up..

reader, anonymous, writes (20 February 2007): No there is nothing wrong with that. Getting 'hooked' up should not be a problem. It is just when it is a close blood relative that things start to get very complicated. But, if i was you i would go for.
