We text each other nearly every day and I have been told he likes me, but he doesn't make any moves, except from the regular "hey, how are you doing/how's your day been? Xxx" texts. He doesn't know that I know, or that I like him, but it's just got to the point where I want to do something about it, instead of just leaving it hanging in the air with that "will-he, won't-he" situation. So. I just wanted to ask whether or not I should just tell him I like him myself, and if so, how I should do it? Bearing in mind, I'm a bit of a wimp and I'd be way too scared to do it face-to-face.Also, we're both going to different universities in September/August, so would it be really silly to (potentially) start a relationship now? What should I do?

Yes, I think you should go for it. More or less, you said it yourself -- I would rather have it settled one way or another... especially before heading off to different universities... As far as how, I recommend just cornering him and telling him how you feel openly and honestly... that's always the best.
