writes: My question is fairly simple, but requires some exposition. I just started freshman year in college. Throughout high school, I had feelings for a girl who was one of my closest friends. We started dating around middle of senior year, and had been together for around 6 months when we both went off to separate schools. We decided to see how things went in terms of college life in order to determine whether to stay in a relationship, but also to stay friends/keep in touch regardless of what happened.Over the past month (of college) we have exchanged some fairly warm emails. My question is this: would it be acceptable/not creepy for me to ask to visit her sometime, to have dinner together? It would not have to be romantic in nature.I live close to home, and her college is about 1.5 hrs from my house, so it would not be a huge trip. Reply to this Question Share |
