writes:im currently 18 years old, and have stretch marks on my buttock and upper thigh. I am super self-consciene about it, I cant wear cute bikinis. I am currently dating this guy and we talk about getting married in the future. He tells me he loves me and everything and has even told me about his birth defects, and how it affects how much he can walk. I just wonder if he would want to still be with me, if i tell him about my stretch marks. :( I get so depressed about it sometimes. N I just wonder from a males perpective, do you think anyone would ever want to be with a girl that has stretch marks ? :(

It's all a matter of opinion I guess, but if a guy thinks you're beautiful and really loves you, I don't see how something so small could turn a guy away from you unless he was the most shallow, unsophisticated jerk in the bunch. I have stretch marks all over my body, my upper arms, breasts, hips, and inner thighs (it's the curse of being a curvy girl!) and I am incredibly insecure. I asked my fiance about it, and he told me he doesn't mind them, and just because they're not always the prettiest things in the world, it doesn't take away from my beauty. Any guy who really loves you will be able to look past your minor physical flaws so long as you look past theirs.
If you're really worried, try taking some vitamin e, and getting vitamin e and shea butter lotion. That's visibly reduced the redness and visibility of my stretch marks.

 Let me tell you one thing.. If guys didn't want girls with stretch marks there would only be very few couples in the world. Most women have them. I do as well and my boyfriend couldn't care less about them.

hey, i have stretch marks too and my boyfriend doesn't care. he loves me the way i am and says that i am beautiful exactly how i am. if he loves you, he won't care. :) xxx
