A relationship of jealousy is a relationship destin to fail. With jealousy, you feel trap. What does a prisoner do when he's trap? He tries to escape.
If you're not supposed to be with this guy, you will eventually move on even though you don't talk to anybody else.
Love should set people free instead of trapping them, in my opinion.

 It's hard to comment really on this without more information but I guess if he says he's not interested and gets jealous maybe he is actually interested but scared of rejection or what will happen if he admits being interested.
