My first language is French,I live in Belgium.I passed the Math exam in 7th,8th,9th grades with a percent of 55.I took courses with a special teacher who came to my house. And I do the same this year. But and I don't see any differences... I got 4/15 and 5/20 at the first tests. I love this course but I don't have a logic mind. This is the only course in whom I've got problems. In the others I'm a B+ student in average. My dream is doing the most exciting job for me : Journalist! and studying in the U.S. I know that I have to get good grades to make my dream come true... I'm totally sad,my mom doesn't encourage me and I want to pass the exams. I'm alone with myself. My friends don't understand why I try to have the best grades for college, because they don't know how the American education works.I know that we need to do the best of ourselves and that we have to plan a lot of things few years before going to college.I still don't know what to do with this Math thing. I'm scared... My studies are the most important thing in my life with my nephew. I don't want to fail like my cousins did or having a bad job like working in a supermarket. I just want to do something that I love, something which will amaze me. Any advices for Math? Thanks,Caroline.

I don't know how it works in America but I am a radio journalist in the UK, and here, as long as all your other grades are ok then you should be able to get on a good course at university.
Journalism schools are more interested in your English and knowledge of the world.
If you decide to come to the UK check out:
