Dont worry about the combination of food he's eating, thats not gonna cause much problem. But that sounds like a hell of a lotta food for one meal! Eating a lot irregularly can lead to diabetes:-O

Typical teenage behavior nothing to fret about. My son used to make himself an onion sandwich (2 pieces of bread and 1 large onion, that's it) and wash it down with chocolate milk. yuck

When I was 14 I had a terrible!! diet. During my university days it was probably even worse!
I think it is probably more of a guy thing than a girl, when your 14 you generally eat tons of food because you are growing so much, your body is changing from boy body to man body, that's quite a lot of changes and he's probably just eating what he is craving. Don't worry about it :)

It does seem odd, but kids do the strangest of things - especially in their teens! It could be a touch of teenage rebellion - easier to handle than some of the other tricks I have heard of, or drugs.. How long has he been doing this?
Could he be copying this from someone he looks up to at school, perhaps? Perhaps it is a phase/fad thing which they are trying out!
As long as he is eating a variety of good, nutritious foods I would'nt worry - for six months when my son was just a baby he would eat nothing but rusks and bread and butter, and he was faddy about his food as a child, but he is taller than me now, and eats almost anything!
One thing in common with other teens is that if you pay undue attention to his fads/habits, you will be playing into his hands, and he will enjoy that attention - so just ignore it, and hope it goes away.
If it worrys you, you can always consult the family GP about it, but I think it will pass as soon as it came about..Oh, the joys of motherhood, eh? lol!
