if you are that worried then I don't reccommend going through with it till you are sure of it. There is always the chance that something may go wrong. My advice to you is hold off on the sex for now and since you say that you two have not done anything else if you two want to start a sexual relationship then start with the smaller things. Work your way up over time to sex that way you two can really get to know each other better and will be more prepared for sex later on.
If you do decide to have sex then remember the condom and to take it easy it will probably be an awkward experience for you both and you don't want to expect the first time to be like some sort of pornography clip.
