I just scared incase I let people down and dont do aswell as they expect of me. What will I do if my results come back and I can't go to college, University and later become a Social Worker? Im sorry to go on, I understand that I've done my exams already and the rest is fait :( x

I'm in exactly the same position as you at school about to recieve my gcse's in roughly two weeks i think. From what i understand from your message you are a very bright girl with good potential. Teachers wouldnt enter you for your gcse's if they didnt think you would pass them - they are trained and know what theyre doing!! I'm a little bit nervous about my results and i am /was a second set boy. Im sure you'll do fine but remember in life you dont get 100% if you dont put 100% in. I've got full faith in you!! good luck

You'll just have to wait a few more days, Everything can be rescued no matter what the outcome is, and many students are going through just the same thing. hold on tight, you'll be fine I'll be the first to congratulate you on your great results......

No one fails GCSE's, it is quite hard to fail...no really...You are clearly academically able so stop stressing. Everyone worries about their exams - wait until you are doing your degree finals...then you will understand the word 'nervous breakdown' :-)
In the worst case scenerio of failing the lot (you won't) the you can go back and do resits or do some NVQ's instead. As for being a social worker - well my first degree is in social work and my O'levels and A'levels weren't the best grades ever so it doesnt matter so much as if you are trying to get into medicine or another elitist type of course. I run medical research programmes for Oxford University these days so trust me, your grades are not that important - attitude and work experience count as well! I work closely with social workers in my current job - a very stressful but rewarding job so go for it if that is what you want! Good luck to you.
