Hi I have a date coming up next weekend I like the guy he seems like a really nice person and he's good looking but I'm so worried and nervous as I'm a single mum to a 3 year old girl and have been alone with her since she was born. I always attract the wrong sort of men but I don't want to mess things up before I see how things go with us. any advice please to get past these feelings thank you

oldbag agony auntHi

Just be yourself, relax, he asked you out so he must like you already.

Do not rush into anything, no sex till you get to know him well, dont invite him round to yours after the date. Think of stuff you can ask him about, like his job or any sport he does. His favourite films, music, food whatever. See what stuff you have in common. If you get along then chatting will be easy, he will probs be as nervous as you anyway.
