Then my age came up in conversation and I mentioned to him I was 18, though am just about to turn 19 in about a months time. He's 25.  To be honest hon,,,I think he may be worried about your age..ask him if he had another problem with ages in teh past..maybe he dated a younger girl before and she hurt him??

reader, anonymous, writes (27 March 2008): i would be worried about it i was 1 when i got with my boyfriend and he was 23! he mi8 of been a bit schocked at 1st, maybe he hasnt been with someone as young before. but maybe he is just trying to get his head around itm thinking about what people will say, i doubt it is about the age though so i wouldnt worry, its not a bad thing about the age gap, maybe he might be worried about what people may think, the only thing i can sujjest is try talking to him about why he has been so quiet. and ask him does your age bother him. i hope this information is helpful! all the best. x

reader, anonymous, writes (27 March 2008): I dont think so it sounds to me that he he likes you for who you are, I think hes probably never thought of being with a girl a little younger than him but Im sure with time he will get over your age and enjoy being around you, best of luck to you and your realationship.
