Sounds like he's just being a guy talking to other girls. All men flirt- think it's part of their make-up.
If you're like me and don't feel confident asking him out- I'd stick with giving him time. But just to warn you- you could be in my situation and wondering 'what if.'

 Just give him time and be patient he should come around but dnt just sit there holding ur breath, check out other guys and keep ur options open. ur too young to sit around waiting on one guy.
