reader, anonymous, writes (18 October 2009): If he had already gotten off once (or multiple times) before you tried to have sex, then he won't be ready to get off again right away. That's how males are built. A young guy will take a few minutes or hours but an older man will take hours or days.
It was probably just performance anxiety. Same with how lots of girls get too nervous to have an orgasm, guys can get too nervous to stay hard.

It's nothing either of you have done, so don't blame each other. Two things. It could be that he had been erect for so long, he simply couldn't keep it up. It could have been performance anxiety. Just relax when it next happens, and make sure he's relaxed or this will get worse.
