writes: am 17 and he is 21.. we have been together for the last 2 years and 6 months... but recently he has gone out on career grounds and he will return only in october.. and i am clearing my 12 grade in march so by june even i'll be out of town by june may be for the next 5 years so i think its going to be very difficult for us to continue and even if we do we will not be happy in this kind of distance which will come.. but if i have to break up.. i don't know how to do it as we have been very close to each other..please advice and thanks for the patience to read.

The best thing to do here is to talk to him about it. Tell him how you feel and see how he feels. Ask him what he sees in the future. Because it does sound like it would be very hard to keep this sort of relationship alive without the contact.
So yes the best thing to do is to sit down with him talk to him tell him how you feel and come to some sort of arragement. Goodluck.
