reader, anonymous, writes (7 October 2008): Well, there are a lot of ways this can work. Whats wrong with haveing a hyphenated last name? It shows that the baby comes from two differnt famiies and represents both of them!
Secondly, you can always use your or the fathers last name as a middle name, or even a first name... think about names like Maddison, Jackson, Makayla, etc.. they all used to be last names and make really nice first names!
I dont actually know what the legal aspects to this are... but there are jsut some ideas!
