I fixed the car and he got mad - what's the big deal?

My boyfriend and me went on a rode trip. But our car just had to broke down. He was going to waste about $1000 just to get it fixed, when I have the skills to fix it (I keep a tool box with me just in case.) When I fixed it for him, he seen ungrateful.

bf: ``You I know I could have done it myself`

me: What you think girl can't be mecanics`

He change the topic to telling me how pretty I am. He seen to be mad on the whole trip. What is the big deal.

My boyfriend always says he prefers to be the one to take care of me.

So by you fixing the car it made his feel a superiority complex possibly.

You did the right think. Trust me it is like a mans vehemency to ask for directions. They never want to look weak or needy in front of the person they care aabout.
