 The only info I can find on problems being cause by the underwire on a bra is when you are pregnant, when it is recommended that you use a bra without as it can harm the development of the breasts as they mature.
Each to their own as to wearing a bra in bed. If you wanna give it a go then go ahead.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 December 2006): Do not wear a bra in bed! The underwire has been directly linked to breast cancer. Doctors recommend that you avoid underwired bras whenever possible and try to go the odd day without a bra at all (perhaps a Sunday). Wearing one in bed won't stop you sagging with age - that will come to us all!

 I am a 32DD. I sleep with a bra on every night. From experience, if I don't wear a bra all the time, when I take my bra off, I sag. If I do where a bra all the time, they seem to look more perky. Sleeping with a bra does not stop the growth, trust me. I am still getting bigger and I sleep with one on every night.

it wont stop growth and sagging depends on the size and number of suregerys (at least i think so) a person's had.
if you want to feel like wearing a bra, wear a cami to bed, more comfortable and you still have support
but if you like sleeping in a bra it wont do any harm so keep on wearing a bra to sleep
