HughHefner'sPlaymate agony auntI bled my first time around but not a whole lot. More like spotting, the kind you get before actual period starts. Don't worry about being tight its all in your head, gosh I sometimes wish I was still a virgin.

Honeypie agony auntYou don't get "loose" from masturbating. The vagina is a MUSCLE.

You may or may not bleed, not every woman does. There is no way for us to tell if you will or not.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (14 July 2012):

Really, it is hard to say. I just got married--both me and my wife remained virgins on our wedding night. Despite physical activity from sports and other things, her hymen still broke and there was a fair amount of blood. I would just be prepared for it because you never know!

So_Very_Confused agony auntTruthfully in this day and age the hymen (the part that will bleed when you break it which used to happen with the first intercourse) breaks from exercise, tampons, masturbation etc...

many women do not bleed when they lose their virginity.

As for being not as tight as before, that's in your head honey.

A reader, anonymous, writes (14 July 2012):

Its hard to say as I don't think bleeding occurs with everyone the first time they have sex. You won't know until you know.

My general belief is that the tighter a persons vagina the more likely they are to bleed for the first time (Or few times as I've previously read).

But since you said you're not as tight as you thought, then perhaps not. (My opinion, I'm no expert. Either way its normal and nothing to be concerned about).
