Im starting year 9 at a new school next week. I dont know anyone there so im nervous.

A girl in the same year as me, moved from my new school to my old school. She was talking to my friends and she said that the girls at my new school are really bitchy and mean so thats why she moved schools. Since there is only one year nine class at the school im going to be stuck with the bitchy girls. What should i do?

TasteofIndia agony auntHey there,

At every school you're going to find bitchy girls. Even if you went to a convent or something... I'll bet there's a handful of bitchy nuns. However, you haven't even been to your school yet! I'll bet there's some really cool girls there that you'll meet. You might have to look for them a little bit - bitchy girls do have a way of being RIGHT IN YOUR FACE. But, look past those ones and look for the quieter, sweeter girls.

I know there's at least a couple of them hiding out in your school. Don't you worry... you'll find a prize!

cd206 agony auntAt your age all girls are bitchy to a certin degree. Don't stress about these girls before you've even met them. Start your new school with an open mind, telling yourself everything will be okay and don't get drawn into the web of bitchiness if it arises but seriously, I think if you go in there telling yourself you're going to hate it then you will and the girls will pick up on your attitude towards them and won't want to be friends. Open mind!!
