Previously I lived with my parents but moved out due to problems I was having at home, then with my ex-boyfriend but left when the relationship deteriorated. It's the first time I've lived on my own and I'm doing fine, but worried about how I'll afford it in the long run. I'm a temp and my contract runs out next month. I did have plans to go to college, but I found out I won't get funding for it. I've been looking for work for when I leave but so far unsuccessfully. If I'm unemployed at the end of it, I'll be in trouble as I'll struggle to manage on benefits, and have very little to live on. I would move out to somewhere cheaper but I'm tied to a six month lease, which means I would have to pay the next five months or so rent which I can't afford. I've asked friends and family for advice but they aren't sure what I should do. I'm really worried and scared to spend any money at all!Anyone got advice? I'm really out of ideas what to do.

Start making budget plans and ask your current temporary imployment agency to find you another role before your current temp contract terminates. This is there job.
F you find that it's just going to be too tough start making plans to move out or find accmodarion you can afford on benifits. Some governments provide a rental allowance so ask the benifits department what you should do before it's too late.
If worse comes to worse just ask your parents if you can move hack n because you will find it financially difficult to live by yourself at this time due to the breakup and the temp employment contract terminating.

Hi honey,
you should qualify for housing benefit. Go to your local council and ask for the housing benefit and council tax benefit form. If you are on a low income they will help with your rent.
Try and do as much research as posssible tonight and then get the forms ASAP. If you have trouble understanding the forms there will be housing benefit officers you can get an appointment with on a first come first served basis.
Do this immediately as the forms take time to process.
Good luck x
