Things started getting tense between us and we started having a lot of tiffs (not fights, just disagreements.) Before I know what's happening, he breaks up with me and tells me that we have problems and are doing each other more harm than good. After a couple of months, I asked him to consider getting back together. He told me despite how much he loves me and how much we enjoy each other and how connected we are, he knows, deep down, that I'm not the one.My question - is it time to give up hope? Does that feeling ever change? If I stayed in his life as a friend could things re-spark to the point that he may one day feel like I am the one?
