Yeah, our culture has conditioned guys to want big boobs. Even though there's that Bible verse about how "A man should leave his parents and cleave to his wife", it does NOT require cleavage to make a fulfilling marriage, or an enjoyable sex life! Personally, I prefer shapely breasts, of any size (though the nicer shapes tend to be smaller) rather than big saggy ones.
You actually have an advantage over large-breasted women. I should know: I married a girl who was a 34-A, and yes - I was fully aware of what was (or wasn't) there well before we said "I do.". After a few years of marriage she decided that bras just weren't her thing, which was wonderful! She was quite stunning (at least, to me) without a bra. And, it was always easy to slip a hand up under her shirt for a respectful, gentle, fondling.
That situation didn't change until she was 58 yrs old. Now there's breast cancer and a right-side mastectomy to deal with. She's now quite imbalanced, with a little less boobage on the right side than I have. You know what? I've come to realize that I love her even more than I thought.

 As a guy that prefers smaller breasts over larger, I can vouch that bigger is not always better. So you don't look like his ex... he's not WITH his ex anymore, probably for a reason.
Men like women's bodies, period. If you're even passably attractive, he'll like what he sees. And he already has seen how you look in clothes, so he isn't going to be totally surprised by your weight and breasts.
Besides, let me tell you a little fact. The more a guy likes you, the hotter you are to him. How he feels about you as a person WILL affect how he feels about your body. He's dating you because he wants to, so he already likes you. He'll like what he sees, too.

 Men love breasts in all shapes and sizes, believe it or not many prefer smaller ones. I'm a B cup and every guy I have ever been with says mine are the nicest or some of the nicest they have ever seen. I love my chest, even though they aren't underwear model big. Don't kid yourself either. He's seen you in clothes, he knows what you look like! It's not like when we're in clothes men have no clue what we look like! They know already and trust me, he likes what he sees if he's your boyfriend and he's probably fantasized a lot about what you look like beneath your clothes. I'm sure he'll love what he sees. Don't worry about who he's comparing you to, because he probably isn't comparing anything. He's not with her anymore, so obviously massive breasts aren't what he's after.
