I am not the worst looking guy in the world cause I can get girls in college to hang out and party with me... I am a good time haha. anyway I am playing football this year because I am looking to have a girl I like notice me a little more. I want to look into the stands and see her there even if she is not there for me I want to make a big play and get some recognition and she makes my adrenaline rush like no other. for some reason if she is around I can lift harder and I like it. I am afraid that I will embarrass the girl I like if she wears one of my game jerseys to the game, but if she does I know I will make a huge play and get her to notice I just need her support I guess. I am not a player just looking for girls to hook up with, its not my thing I am just looking to get the recognition from this girl I like and I really don't care if people say I am wasting my time, I am not trying to date her. I just want to impress her and show her I am an option if she ever wants.anyway my question is do you think football is a good option to get this girl to notice me more? she loves sports and she will go to the games I just gotta figure out if she will ever cheer for me cause I will not let her down if she does. I am not one of the great big fat linemen, I am 6'3 170 lbs and play D end. but I am fast and strong for my size and weight

justfriends is verified as being by the original poster of the question thank you for your answers. tomorrow we have our first full pad hitting drills, I am really looking forward to kicking some ass and getting to feel confident with myself when I talk to certain girls.

 A lot of high schools have the players wear their jerseys to school on game days. Chicks dig it. Besides that, football is a lot of fun, and a good way to beef up.
Just two points to keep in mind
1) Passion for something, and mastery of it, is like catnip to girls. Enjoy football for itself, and not only will you have fun, but its attraction effect will be stronger. Don't ask her to cheer for you, but graciously thank her if she mentions it (and tease her a bit).
2) The best way to get her attention is just to start talking to her. Tease her, act confident in yourself (fake it if you have to, eventually it will become real), and don't be afraid to escalate with hugs, playful tickling, whatever. Just keep a close eye on her reactions, back off if anything appears unwelcome, keep going if its working.
