reader, anonymous, writes (9 September 2008): Fertility drugs like Clomid are supposed to help you get pregnant but that doesn't mean you will. Why would using a turkey baster work better than just having sex?
Make sure you are having sex in a position optimal for conceiving, for example woman on top is not a good one because it works against gravity & the sperm have to swim upward. You want to make it easy as possible for them to swim. Also, don't use lubricant like KY or even saliva.
They sell special lubricant for couples TTC, just Google it. Also, try getting your husband to take supplements for his count & motility.
These were recommended to us by a reproductive urologist after he told us my husband's sperm had only 1% good morphology. For whatever reason we got PG within 8 months of him taking these. Maybe it was the vitamins worked, maybe not, who knows but it can't hurt.
