But on birth control for cramps, does this still prevent her from becoming pregnant.I know it does not protect from STD's but we are 100% sure we dont have one.

It entirely depends on what she is taking and how regularly she is taking it. There are a range of pill products out there for cramps that contain the same hormones as the birth control pill. Different pills have different birth control rates and provided she takes it properly then you should be ok. However, it is not 100% safe as there have been cases of women on the pill getting pregnant even when they take it correctly.

If it is birth comtrol and she is taking it properly then she shouldn't become pregnant.
My sister became pregnant when she was taking antibiotics alongside the pill and her doctor didn't tell her it would mess the pill up.
She can still get pregnant even if you pull out before coming. A girl can get pregnant with pre-come!

Regardless of the reason she's taking The Pill, (to clear up blemishes, or regulate periods) it's still one of the best methods of controlling unwanted pregnancies. However it does not protect from STD's and HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, such a genital warts and herpes. So there's more to worry about than just getting pregnant. Use a condom also.

Birth control can be used for many different reasons. Sometimes to ease cramps, sometimes to clear up acne or breakouts, and also as a form of birth control.
If it's really birth control she's taking, even if it's for cramps, then it's still going to protect her from becoming pregnant.
BUT, if she skips pills, misses pills or doesn't take them at the same time every day, then the 98-99% effectivness drops considerably.
It's always better to err on the side of safety, in my opinion, since even taking birth control like you're supposed to is only about 98% effective. My opinion, if you're not ready to have a baby, then you're not ready to risk it.

If she takes it on schedule she'll be covered, assuming she's taking the birth control pill like you implied.
