A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I met a really nice boy on holliday and spent the whole week with him, im now back home in England and can't stop thinking of him!! Im going down to see him in a couple of weeks as he lives down near London. I really like him but don't know how he feels about me and i know its pretty daft because we live apart but i like him. Any ideas?? Do long distance things work??

I also arrived home to find out there has been a really awfull rumore going round about me that isn't true!! I now don't want to go back to 6th form in September because im sick of people talking about me im really quiet and keep myself to myself so don't know why im such a big topic of other peoples conversation. For the past 5 years i have been a no-one but just enough of a some one to be bullied and picked on and now ive had enough.

A female reader, Emaz help United Kingdom +, writes (15 July 2008):

Emaz help agony auntI feel exactly the same with a rumour about me

I went to a 6th form party when i was in year11 and at the party i got drunk and kissed one of the boys but people have said i let him do more to me on the sofa!!!

I know i didn't because i wern't that drunk and remember everything. But as i am going to 6th form i am slightely worried about the remarks i may get or of what people who don't know me, think about me.

You have a good few weeks until you start 6th form so hopefully the rumour would of blown over and someone knew will be the topic of gossip.

Don't listen to anyone, if you know nothing happend then you shouldn't care what other people say or think and if you ignore their childish remarks then it proves you are more mature than them and don't give a toss about what they say!!!

The long distance thing, i know someone who has been with his girlfriend for about 4 months now and she lives in Bristol while he lives in Kent and they've worked!!!

If you like him and believe it could work out then go for it

You only live once :D

Hope i've helped!
