A male United Kingdom age 51-59, *wonnicles writes:

Hello,

My wife and I are having problems with regards to who initiates sex. We are both in our 50’s and have sex around 3 times per week. A lot of the time she does say are we having it but I also try to initiate as well by kissing and cuddling to get going. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 6 years ago and am now impotent as a result of a prostatectomy. Before the operation I would usually get aroused and we would go from there.

Now she does ask more than I do but I am a willing participant and want to be intimate and have sex with my wife.

My question is, does it matter who initiates sex as long as you both enjoy it and have mutual satisfaction? My wife thinks I do not want her body because she sometimes says about sex but I do, I love touching her and being close to her.
