Fancy yourself as an agony aunt? Add your answer to this question! A

Dosen't sound like anything serious but you can never be sure. Book an appointment with your doctor and get yourself checked out. Any time you notice unpleasant changes in your body, don't waste time, go to the doctors and get it sorted out. Anything could be going on...

oooops I forgot to mention that it can be an indication of diabetes. High concentration of the sugar in the urine. The smell is sweetish and slightly darker yellow. In it's most natural state, healthier and more water diluted urine is actually opaque or clear in color.
Thanks for reaing,

It can vary in different colors from light yellow to dark amber. Depending on the concentration of the solutes in the urine. Different things that you drink, eat or injest(medicines or other drugs) by mouth can change the color and/or odor of the urine. Things such as Caffiene, Sugary drinks,Medications, vitamins, certain foods such as beets or rhubarb and asparagus. Infections of the bladder or kidneys can also cause foul odor and a more cloudy yellowed color. The stonger ammonia smell and darker yellow color is shown in the concentration when you don't drink enough WATER!
Blood in the Urine can chage the color and odor. It will
be a smokey color and pungent. This is usually from untreated or lingering infections, kidney or bladder stones, tumors or cancer in the Urinary Tract or organs involved.
Metabolic abnormalaties caused by genetic defects can cause this also. If the urine isn't properly diluted by the intake of necessary fluids it will become darker and have a strong smell of ammonia. The strong the odor the better of chance that it is from an infection.
Bilirubin in the urine may be an indication of a liver or gallbladder condition or disease. Bilirubin is a product derived from the metabolism of the hemoglobin in the blood. The urine would be an dark orange color that foams upon shakeing.
I hope this helps.
God bless,

Have you been under stress from a job or spouse or something? When I was stressed from a job and a girlfriend my urine smelled very bad. The smell was rank. It would do this every month or so for a couple days. I think it's your body trying to get rid of something.

There are a number of things that might or might not be wrong.. To name a few :
Urine infection
Vaginal infection ( yeast )
STD , STI
Diabeties
Or it could just be the food you eat.. As simple as that.. If it is periodic.. For a week or so.. Need not be worried.. Otherwise see your doctor if the problem persists..
G'day

Have you eaten any asperagus lately? Every time I do I am startled by the wierd smell when I pee! If it is temporary it is probably something you ate. If it persists, then you need to go to the doctor.
