Question - (13 October 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 13 October 2011)
A female Bahamas age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend said it wont work anymore because i do not respect him. But i never saw it like that and i thought i was being open about me feelings. Like when something happens or when he says something to upset me when i confront him about it he would say i must stop and that i like picking fights, but i would not stop cos i felt like i had to vent and i felt like i need to speak my mind and resolve the issue and let it rest....so he says i am too stubborn, i dont respect him as a man and that i like picking fights. So he broke it off, i begged him to reconsider but he refused, saying that we can only be friends. But next year i am going to school and he said that he will pay for my studies still. Why would he want to help me if he does not love me? i am confused. help :(

aunt honesty agony auntWhat makes you say that he does not love you? He never said that did he? He obvious does love you but he just cannot be with you any more. The relationship is just not working the way it should for him at the moment so he wants to be just friends.
