Online realtionships never last love. I've had them, eventually you'll meet someone in person and like them, then you'll forget all about this online guy.
It does hurt, but thats because you're missing out on something you regularly did and feel lost without it. Find something to fill the gap.

 He met someone else. That's what hard about online relationships- there's no accountability, and it's very easy to just meet someone new and stop talking to the old person.
