writes:Met a guy out a few weeks ago but we live over an hour apart...anyway we got on really well just clicked...felt i could be myself around him and he has said that also.However, we have kept in contact, texting and calls and last night i asked why he has kept in contact as he is younger than me, he said cause im nice person and would like to get to know me better..plus your gorgeous...thats all well and good...but i would like to see him again and soon but he has not even mentioned meeting again not once...I did ask what he was doing Friday (not asking him out but just what are you doing then if he was free was going to ask) but he said he is working nights...then said not doing much over weekend will probably just chill. I took that as dont ask anymore as im chilling the weekend. Also in one text i said wish you was here and he said yeah it would be nice..maybe one day!!!!!!!Why wont he ask me out..i like him but dont want just a text buddy, shall i just stop keeping contact???

 Why don't you just ask him out on a date? maybe he is really shy and is waiting for you to make a proper move. When he said he was chilling the rest of the weekend, you could of asked him whether or not he would like to meet you.
Some guys won't make a move unless they know for sure that the other person is interested in them, it can be hard sometimes for us guys to admit we have feelings for someone, then get told they only wanted to be our friend.
If you like him then go for it.
