Hi,

Im 17 (male), soon to be 18, at college doing my a-levels, got a good part time job etc, but I havent been in love since I was 15, had a boyfriend since February or had any form of sex since April. I'm quite goodlooking but Im a warm person too... but it just feels like im never going to meet the right lad again.

Theres a guy on my msn from Northern Ireland whos 22 (I live in SouthEast England). We've been talking for like a year and a half, anyway recently we've been chatting on the phone and talking more, and we've always mutually liked each other but now I can feel it growing, But hes like the opposite side of the UK, and realistically it wont work - and I always seem to get my self into a situation where I like someone that for some reason (eg: the distance) is simply impossible to have.

Ive been in 2 long distance relationships before and they can hurt a lot, I dont want to get to like him anymore but I dont want to stop talking to him.

What do I do? =(

superrrshawna agony auntkeep talking to him but tell him you don't want a long distance relationship! keep the close friendship going so that in the future if there is way the two of you could potentially give it a go (if you move closer or get transferred for work or whatnot) the connection is still there!
