writes: helloooo im 16 and me and my bf have been together for 2 months now.we are both leaving school this year to go to college. we were discussing what colleges we are both going to and we found that we are going to different ones! :(for some reason i got really upset and i was saying things like 'that means we are hardly ever going to see each other' and stuff.then i sat on his lap :P and i actually started crying! i tried to hide my face but i think he knew i was crying. :s do u think he thought i was a bit of a wimp for crying about it?and why do you think i was so emotional about the whole thing? Hey, there's nothing wrong with being upset! I'd be upset too... if you really like the guy, it seems pretty normal to get upset that you two will be going separate ways next year. I don't think he thought you were a wimp, and I think you're being emotional because it's an emotional thing!
Have fun spending the rest of the year together! Oh, and congratulations on the college acceptance!

Don't worry about it.
Who knows why? Maybe you've got PMS. Maybe you're just scared about the relationship and how it's going. Maybe you're scared about going to college. Maybe loads of other things that you can deal with when you're older and get therapy!
Just be grateful that you had a nice lap to sit on and an arm to hug you, and enjoy your new college and telling him all about it and learning about his.
If the colleges are a long way apart, read a book about how to sustain a long distance relationship and see how it goes.
