It all started a couple months ago all my friends were breaking up with their boyfriends and i started getting really passimistic and started asking myself dumb questions like "do i love him enough" and even started thinking that i didnt love him!!! i even got depression for a couple of months, depression is mostly gone now but i do have anxiety everyday and cant get these stupid thoughts out of my head, i know its rediculouse but its almost like habit now, actually thats exactly what it is. And worst of all im in a wonderful relationship but i never get to enjoy it anymore becuase of this problem. I even go into certain periods of not feeling any emotion at all, like numbness, and makes me withdrawn and it sucks most becuase i used to be so in love with my boyfriend but now the negative thoughts run my life :'( do i need therapy or somthing, this has to stop cuz im so afraid it will ruin us. Will therapy even help me, will this pass????? Advice is much needded and much appreciated, thankyou!!

Start with you family doctor, he can actually prescribe antidepressants for you, and they will help you immensely, but you may need to try different dosages and or combinations of pills to see what works best for you....they have little or no side effects now days.
Since you have a lot of negative thoughts running through your head, a PhD level Cognitive Behavioral Psychologist is the way to go, ask for a referral to one in your area if there are none, a Behavioral Psychiatrist is good also. You show a lot of strength in admitting there is a problem and asking these questions, you will be glad that you take the next step and get the help you need.
All the best.

It might pass on its own but don't count on it. You need to get help and therapy will help you. Having anxiety and negative thinking is no way to live.
Good luck!
