A lot of online articles talk about fissures and friction but after anal there was as much blood in the toilet as if I had my period? Not sure if I should visit the doctor or not? Any help is appreciated as I am currently very alarmed about the situation. Thanks.

I have bled before but due to celiac problems or else tearing around the opening when we first started doing it. The bleeding this time came from inside I'm sure of it. I am unable to get into the doctor until next Tuesday and urgent care is generally useless and just sends me to another doc anyways...

Fissure hurts like hell, specially when pooping or being penetrated. If you have a huge pain in there, your anal tissue is torn and you need surgery.
If it only bleeds, it's a common type of hemorrhoid. It doesn't always need surgery.
In any case, get yourself checked. Don't be alarmed. There is cure.
If you need surgery and if laser surgery is available, I recommend you choose that one. It's more comfortable and it heals more quickly.
And for god's sake, don't tease your man with your butt anymore! I'm not saying that anal sex has caused the problem, but you'd better stop it. At least until you are healed completely.

Yes you need to see the doctor... if the blood was bright red it's probably that you have internal hemorrhoids that were ruptured.

HI
This is not the page you should be asking that question on, you need to log into nhsdirect.co.uk or better still go to your Dr's A.S.A.P!!
You are very right to be alarmed. Firstly anal sex has always been a questionable sexual activity, the anus is for letting things out, not putting things in.
But for you to be loosing so much blood suggests a burst vessel, or even possible cancer. I would not wait to find out, sorry for being blunt but when it comes to your health I would rather just get to the point.
